Porsche Le Mans Car Project

At Central Scanning, we are all interested in cars and motorcycles (old and new) and therefore any projects that involve these is of great personal interest. A good friend of ours who is very fussy asked us to scan a 1959 Porsche RS61 that had raced at Le Mans the same year to see if we could create suitable data to assist the re-manufacture of bodies as he wanted to build an ‘exact’ replica of the bodywork. Suspension Parts

Central Scanning were approached by a customer with a ‘new from old’ requirement. The customer had a casting that had been in production for in excess of 20 years for which no drawings or CAD data existed. A new variant of the casting was required.
