Multi award-winning 3D printing and scanning specialists, Central Scanning, will be showcasing the very latest state-of-the-art 3D printing and 3D scanning results and technology at this year’s Advanced Engineering show. The Bromsgrove-based company, who have been at the forefront of 3D printing and scanning for 13 years, will be appearing on Stand H6 on both days of the event at the NEC, Birmingham.
The appearance comes hot on the heels of the company returning from Artec 3D’s annual resellers’ conference in Georgia. Not only were Central Scanning honoured for being pioneering Artec 3D resellers for the last ten years, they were presented with two further trophies – Best Pre-Sales Service and the prestigious Ambassador Award.
“To have come away with three awards, two of which were for heavy-weight achievements (ten years’ service and Ambassador status) reinforces just how ahead of the curve we are when it comes to 3D scanning and product knowledge,” explains Alex Chung, pre-sales and marketing manager at Central Scanning.
“The Ambassador status is particular significant, as it recognises just how well we are performing, or outperforming, within our market. We’re one of the best Artec resellers in the world, and one of four in the UK; but we’re the only ones to have been crowned Ambassadors.”
Returning for a third time to Advanced Engineering, Central Scanning will be exhibiting a whole host of game-changing 3D scanning technology, including the Zeiss T-SCAN and COMET and, portable scanners, the Artec 3D, Artec Leo, Artec Spider and Artec Eva. Finished components and prototypes, produced by the Central Scanning team using Stratasys, MarkForged and Prusa equipment back at their temperature-controlled workshop in Worcestershire, will also be on display.
“We’re looking forward to making our third appearance at Advanced Engineering. Every year we’ve exhibited, we’ve showcased results and technology that’s wowed and delighted show visitors and been truly ahead of its field, and this year is no exception,” adds Alex.
“3D scanning is the perfect technology for the engineering world. It can be used to produce components and prototypes, as well as optimise existing outputs, far more efficiently and with more detail than most traditional solutions. Meanwhile, 3D printing enables engineering and manufacturing companies to verify and change designs more frequently and spend a fraction of the time and cost they’d usually spend in the process.
